About me
JEPRA is not a company with a team. It is me, Yuki Iemura, working from Tokyo. The person who answers your email is the person who goes to the shop.
What I do
- For individuals (this site): I buy what is sold only in Japan and send it to you: personal shopping, shop visits and a monthly private buyer retainer.
- For businesses (jeprajp.com): I supply Japanese stationery and washi paper to shops overseas, and help companies source from Japan: finding manufacturers, OEM production, inspection, interpreting and market research.
- For brands that want products made in Japan (www.jepratokyo.com): I connect overseas buyers with Japanese makers who take outside orders.
How I work
- Every rate is published. You see the shop’s receipt; I add nothing to the goods price.
- You approve the total before anything is charged.
- I tell you when something goes wrong, as soon as I know, with what it costs and what you can choose. See recent work for an example.
- I declare every parcel honestly. Real contents, real value, never a “gift”.
- I am licensed as a second-hand goods dealer in Japan, so I can buy used items from shops for you.
Languages
I work in Japanese and English, and also answer in French and Spanish.
