Four steps, and you approve the price first

- Pay, then I buyPayPal, Wise or Payoneer. The quote holds for 7 days unless the shop changes the price or sells out.
- Photos and trackingI photograph, pack and ship, usually within 3 business days of the last item arriving.
What it costs
The goods are charged at the shop's price in Japan, including consumption tax, and I send you a photo of the receipt. I add nothing to it.
20% over ¥30,000 · 15% over ¥100,000 · no minimum fee. Per order from one shop. Covers ordering, receiving, checking, packing and export paperwork.
Up to 4 hours, train fares included. An ordinary shop visit is ¥5,000 and needs no purchase.
Deducted from the purchase fee if you order.
An independent service checks it and I pass on its written result. The judgement is theirs, not mine.
Invoiced in Japanese yen. Import tax and duty in your country are charged by your customs on arrival and are not in my quote.
What I don't buy
- Tickets of any kind.
- Fakes, and anything that can't legally leave Japan or enter your country.
- Goods for resale. For shop and business orders, see B2B sourcing.
- Food, cosmetics, perfume, batteries and aerosols: ask first. Many can't go by post.
When you shouldn't use me
If the shop already ships to your country, buy direct. It will cost you less.
I am worth it when the item is hard to get, needs someone to go there, or the shop has to be dealt with in Japanese.
Questions
What if it sells out, or the lottery doesn't come through?
You get the goods money back in full. If I couldn't buy anything, the purchase fee comes back too. Fees for going in person and for searching pay for time already spent, so those are not refunded.
Can you buy tax-free?
No. Tax-free shopping in Japan is for visitors buying in person with their own passport. I pay the normal price including consumption tax, and that is what you see on the receipt.
What if something arrives damaged?
I photograph every item when it reaches me. If the shop sent it damaged or wrong, I deal with the shop in Japanese. For damage in international transit, I give you the photographs and the paperwork for the claim.
Can I combine several orders?
Yes. I hold everything free for 30 days and ship it together, so you pay for shipping once.
