Your clients' requests in Japan, handled by someone in Tokyo
When a client asks for something that is only sold in Japan, a shop that won't ship abroad, a store-only release or a used piece in a Tokyo reuse shop, you need someone on the ground. I am Yuki Iemura, working from Tokyo under the name JEPRA. I also run jeprajp.com, where I supply Japanese stationery and washi paper to shops overseas and help companies source from Japan: finding manufacturers, OEM production, inspection, interpreting and market research. I go, look, buy and ship, and I report to you, not to your client.
What I can do for your clients
- See it first. I visit the shop you name, photograph the shelf and ask your questions at the counter in Japanese. Your client can walk the shop with me on a video call. No purchase needed.
- Buy it. In store or online, new or second-hand from shops, including shops that only deliver inside Japan.
- Find it. A name, a photo or a description: I find out which shops still have it.
- Queue or enter a lottery in Tokyo, where the terms allow it, in my own name.
- Have it checked. Branded items can be authenticated by an independent service; I pass on its written result.
- Ship it. Checked, photographed, packed and sent with tracking, usually within 3 business days of the last item arriving.
How working with me goes
- You send the request: a link, a photo or a description, and the destination.
- Within one business day I send you a total: goods at the shop's price, my fee, shipping and processing.
- You approve and pay; then I buy. Receipt photo, item photos and tracking go to you.
- Invoiced to your company, in Japanese yen, at my published rates. What you charge your client is up to you.
- Your client stays yours. I deal with you, and I contact your client only if you ask me to, for example to join a video call.
- Discretion. I do not publish or share your clients' names, requests or addresses.
- Ongoing work can run as a monthly Private buyer retainer: ¥165,000 a month, 3-month minimum, and I take 5 clients at a time.

Shipping to the UAE (as of October 2026)
- Japan Post's acceptance table of 15 October 2026 lists airmail, surface mail and EMS to the United Arab Emirates as accepted. Japan Post still warns of delays on some routes. I can also quote an express courier.
- The UAE charges customs duty (5% for most goods) and 5% VAT on imports. These are paid on arrival and are not part of my quote.
- I do not send alcohol, medicines or anything else that needs a permit in the UAE. I check the destination's rules before every quote.
